He sends her a picture of his shoes on a pebble beach with the words ‘thinking about you’ underneath.
When they are together he says “I’d like to take you there one day”.
She smiles the biggest smile inside but only shows a little smile. Warm fuzzy feelings go round her belly.
They are at the beach together. It is a brisk walk, and she didn’t even get to feel the pebbles massage her feet through her shoes.
